Carnival Time

WOW... where did Spring Break go????

I feel like I have had a week of very minimal accomplishments. I hate that feeling.

We did spend an entire day at the Houston Livestock show carnival. We got there around 11:30 AM and left around 8:30 PM. We were some heavy duty carnival animals.

This was probably the FAVORITE ride. They loved the slide. In fact, we spent nearly as many tickets on the slide as we did on the assortment of carnival food.

The bubble fun house rocked.... except Kaelin got lost and finally got a sweet little girl to help her find her way out.

I am a little freaked out by the paintings in the background, but the inside of the fun house was okay.

We met some of our friends (Lisa, Terry, Addison, and Bryson) there and proceeded to eat and ride everything in site. I think we all had belly aches the next day.

This is a quick run down on the carnival food we devoured:
corn dogs
lemonade
strawberry lemonade
funnel cakes
cotton candy
hot dog
corn on the cob
french fry loaf
ceviche (yes at the carnival)
hamburger
popcorn
peanuts
probably other things that I am mentally blocking out.

Here is a list of things at the carnival that we DID NOT eat:
fried Snickers (have tried them and don't like them)
fried Oreos
fried butter (why???)
chicken fried bacon
turkey legs
sausage on a stick
fried pickles (love them)
anything else that could possibly go into a deep fryer
any type of animal that moved at one time (seriously, they will grill, smoke, or fry anything)

The weather was absolutely phenomenal (which was a nice surprise from the dismal winter we have had). We all actually came home with some minor sunburns. It felt nice.
