Easter on the farm
We spent Easter weekend in Corsicana with Kay and Bill. Charley and Trish came down from Alabama, so it was an extra special weekend. Kaelin got to dye Easter eggs. Kaelin did not really understand why eggs should be dyed colors other than pink. I really had to agree with her. There is no rule that says all of your Easter eggs should not be pink. I am going to keep that in mind for next year. I will start shopping the clearance bins now, so I can stock up on all of the pink Easter egg dye.
Due to the monsoon type rain that came through on Easter Sunday, she had to hunt Easter eggs in the living room. Who cares where you have to hunt them... Anyone that knows Kaelin knows that she is a shoe hound. She loves shoes, owns tons of shoes, will sacrifice candy and toys for new shoes. This was hilarious... Kaelin told me she wanted the Easter bunny to bring her a basket of shoes. A girl after my own heart. Luckily, the Easter bunny was able to find some last minute shoes to add to her basket.
Kaelin's eggs were filled with miniature nail polish, lip gloss, finger/toe nail stickers, and then some had candy in them. She had so much fun. Then of course we had to paint finger and toe nails once all of the egg hunting was done.
