Britni Update

Britni is still in "doggie ICU", but she is improving.

The doctors have determined she has an infection somewhere in her body that has made her lose a lot of blood. She is still pretty weak, but getting better.

Kaelin and I went to see her yesterday and today. Kaelin is still very concerned about Britni and really wants her to be able to come home.

Yesterday: Kaelin and I brought Miss Britni some really good dog food and we were able to sit there and feed her. She ate a few bites, but that was it. Today, Britni ate earlier in the morning, so she would not eat when Kaelin and I got there. Britni was still very weak but was able to stand up for a little while.

Today: Britni was very excited to see us. She kept wagging her tail and just wanted me to hold her. She was definitely ready to come home. She still has an IV in her leg and they are still giving her injectable antibiotics.

Tomorrow: The doctors are going to run some more tests and check her blood again. If everything is looking good, we might get to take her home. We are hoping so. Kaelin keeps telling me "We can take care of Miss Britni at home." She is definitely missing her puppy.
